Eyelash extensions from Makeup artist in Hampshire
Semi-permanant eyelash extensions.
Eyelash extensions is a procedure that extends the real lash with a synthetic weightless, natural looking lash.I offer different lengths and thickness to create your preferred look, from fuller natural looking to more dramatic lusher lashes.
Before the appointment.
Remove all make-up from eyes with oil-free cleanser or make-up remover.
Do not curl your lashes, its much easier for me to apply to straighter lashes.
The Procedure
The synthetic lash is applied lash by lash to each of your lashes using a special bonding agent,(your natural lashes will not be damaged) that will last the length of your natural growth cycle, which is dependant upon individual growth cycle, life style, your makeup removal products/technique, but generally they can last up to 8wks, during this time you will need an in-fil to promote longevity, as with nail enhancements. The eyelash application takes 1-1 1/2 hrs.
After the appointment.
To maintain your lashes please follow these guidelines:-
Avoid getting your lashes wet for first 24 hrs after your lashes have been applied, no swimming, steam rooms/saunas for next 48 hrs.
Do not use eyelash curlers, perm or tint, this will break the bond.
Do not use regular/water-proof mascara, it will dissolve the bonding agent, only water-based mascara is recommended.
Carefully remove makeup/ cleanse eyes with oil-free products, and try not to rub your eyes.
Please don’t pull lash extensions, the bonding agent is quite adhesive, let them grow out naturally or contact me to remove them.
